Women’s TEC Field Trip

We were delighted to visit Women’s TEC’s Belfast headquarters, explore the incredible craft fair, and enjoy a full tour of their fantastic building. The women from Waterside Women’s Centre had such a brilliant day — the atmosphere was welcoming, the experience was inspiring, and the quality of the fair was truly outstanding.

This visit also felt especially meaningful as our women were able to take part in a course this autumn at the new North West Women’s TEC Hub, giving them access to practical skills, confidence-building opportunities, and a supportive learning environment close to home. Seeing the wider work of Women’s TEC first-hand really highlighted the impact they have in supporting women into training, employment, and further opportunities across Northern Ireland.

Women’s TEC does incredible work empowering women through education, skills development, and pathways into work, and we are so grateful that our women have been able to benefit from this through both local courses and wider connections.

We’re really looking forward to continuing this partnership and to welcoming more Women’s TEC classes and opportunities for the women at Waterside Women’s Centre in the future.
